Bright Ideas

Active Generations

Active Generations employees celebrated Homecoming Week as a part of their campaign. In addition to a rally, employees also participated in a “where did they graduate from” quiz, held a spiritwear contest and ended the week with a graduation ceremony—complete with a keg…of root beer! All the activities got them into the spirit of giving—Active Generations had 100% participation, including 4 Rising Heart givers and 3 Heart Club members.

Fill in the blank:
When I learned...

"what a well-oiled machine Sioux Empire United Way is, operating with a relatively small staff and over 1,000 local volunteers,"

I thought this was “Pretty Awesome”.

“My Heroes” when I was a freshmen in high school were...

"my parents, although that may not have been my immediate response when I was 14! Being the youngest of three and having “older” parents, I can look back and appreciate how they persevered through a lot of challenges to provide for my siblings and me."
