Bright Ideas

Dacotah Bank

Dacotah Bank got into the swing of things with their campaign by participating in a round of mini-golf. Employees paid to play nine rounds of golf that included a water-hazard hole, down-the-stairs hole and more. Along with golf and other activities, ECM Alicyn Grenz, made sure that all employees attended a rally and were asked to give.

City Landfill

landfillThe City of Sioux Falls’ Landfill staff got into the spirit of United Way by hosting a public lunch and raffle, with proceeds going to United Way. While the lunch was good, the highlight of the event was the opportunity to win a chance to demolish old appliances or a trailer. The lunch and the raffle to win an opportunity to drive the big machinery raised more than $1,000.

CNA Surety

landfill ECM Lisa Hawkins and CC Tonya Falkenstein planned a campaign with an international flair. Activities included an international foods cook-off and Chinese basket auction. Staff also participated in an art auction, dessert sale, a trivia contest, and enjoyed treats such as root beer floats and popcorn throughout the campaign week.
