Make Your Mark on the Sioux Empire. Live United. Sioux Empire United Way.

Message From Campaign Chair

As we near Christmas, I am always struck by the outpouring of generosity toward people in need. Volunteers serve holiday meals. Gifts are purchased to help others have a happy holiday. Our community pulls together in a million different ways. This is also the time when we near the end of our annual campaign. Thanks to your support of United Way, our various partner agencies are able to provide needed services all 12 months of the year. In June our campaign volunteers are signing up for service. In July and August they receive training and organize the campaign. September through December they are out every day holding rallies and doing the hard work of bringing in the dollars. And then the cycle repeats.

United Way volunteers and donors are not just “seasonal” givers. They give from the heart, usually with every paycheck and typically year-round. I am very proud to be associated with people who understand that meeting the needs of our community is a year-round effort. And, thanks for what you are doing to make this year’s campaign a success!
